A monthly headline price may describe only part of a service. Use the same cost categories for each platform so you can compare equivalent plans.

Compare the same period.
Ask for both the first-month total and the expected ongoing total. A one-time evaluation and a recurring membership are different costs. If a fee covers several months, record both the amount charged upfront and the period it covers.
Do not assume that “from” pricing applies to the product or plan you would receive. Keep conditional testing and other possible costs separate from confirmed charges. If the provider cannot quote the final treatment cost before evaluation, ask what the evaluation itself costs and what you can decline afterward.
Read the terms with the price.
Ask what happens if treatment is not recommended, medication is unavailable or you decide not to continue. Check cancellation, refund and renewal terms before authorizing payment. Keep a copy of the service description and the terms you accept.
